The purpose of the two-day conference is to bring together scientists and medical practitioners from around the world. Experts in the field of vitamin B12 deficiency and vitamin B12 and folate metabolism meet with the medical practitioners and scientists from the target audience:

general practitioners and physicians such as pediatricians, neurologists, internists, gastroenterologists, psychiatrists, clinical chemists, nutritionists and biomedical scientists.

Why is this conference so crucial for so many different healthcare professionals?

B12 deficiency affects many systems in the body and can be easily overlooked.

During the conference, we plan to

  • build bridges between clinical chemistry, nutrition science and clinical practice
  • exchange scientific research and updates on the latest developments with high clinical relevance
  • make an inventory of what is proven and what is not
  • identify what research is needed to improve the clinical outcome of patients

The maximum number of 12 accreditation points is requested for all disciplines.
