The First International Conference on Vitamin B12 Deficiency in Clinical Practice takes place at a unique location: the former Steamship Rotterdam, which was launched in 1959. The ship is world-famous for its services on the Holland-America Line and as a luxury cruise ship. In 2008 it was completely restored. Since then it has been moored on a quay in the centre of Rotterdam. It is one of the icons of the metropolis.
Today the ship is a hotel, restaurant, bar and conference center in one. The rooms of the 4-star hotel are now located where the huts used to be. You can book a room for one or more nights.
Since the ship is located in the heart of the city, you can discover the Maas banks, the city center and the harbour by water-taxi or on foot. If you prefer to stay on board, you can enjoy the various decks and catering facilities. A tour of the entire ship is also recommended.
During the First International Conference on Vitamin B12 Deficiency in Clinical Practice, we use several large halls, including the Theatre which can accommodate up to 500 candidates. Naturally, the current rules regarding COVID-19 are taken into account throughout the conference.
